Happy Monday Bloggies!
After a very relaxing weekend at the parents house in Maine, I was ready to come back to Boston and get my week started. I had taken the weekend off from fitness, filled up on yummy eats and had booked clients for the week ahead.
So this morning I began with a green monster smoothie… I know, I know, it took me a little while to be ok with drinking a green drink (and in the morning!). But it is delish and doesn’t taste like spinach at all! I don’t use nut butter but instead use a whole banana, protein powder, chia seeds, spinach, almond milk and sometimes blueberries 🙂
On the subject of greens… I would love to share one of my new favorites. Kale Chips.
-extra virgin olive oil
pre-heat oven to 350-375. Toss kale with all ingredients. Lay out on baking sheet. Bake for 12-15min. Check it… it can burn easily. EAT. They taste like crunchy goodness and they are healthy! Play around with the toppings too… taco seasoning, parmesan, garlic salt…. the possibilities are endless.
Trying to get those servings of veggies is much easier now with these two recipes! With so many variations, you can concoct tons of delish recipes of sweet smoothies and salty treats.
