Alright. I definitely had one of those mornings where I wanted to go to the gym (not my place of work, but an actual gym where I can partake in exercise where no one knows me). I mean I really wanted to feel that surge of energy after I finished. That sense of accomplishment.
It just took me 4-ev-a to get there! I had one of those mornings where I would be half way out the door and … woops no water bottle. No headphones. NO this. NO that. Blahh. It really discourages your workout. My goal is to be more organized.
Anyways. I finally made it and had a heart-pumping-sweat-dripping good time. After a little cardio warm-up I went into this awesomely sweet circuit. Try it out!!
- KB swing 1min
- KB clean-overhead press (OR just overhead press until you feel comfortable doing the clean portion) 30sec each side
- TRX squat to row 1min
- TRX chest press 1min
- Jump rope 1min
Do this 3x through with no rest in between exercises. Next 2x through…
- TRX jackknife 10x
- Deadbug 25x
- Plank 30sec
- TRX mountain climbers 30sec/ TRX superwoman 30sec (I couldn’t find videos for these- basically you are putting the straps underneath your arms/chest/rib cage with the anchor point behind you. MC are meant to be a fast tapping action with your feet. Superwoman’s are slower with a wider stance of the feet.) I’ll keep trying to post videos for these!
