Last Sunday I attended a 8 hour course about a single piece of equiptment. It’s called the TRX. Technically it doesn’t stand for anything, however most tend to think it’s abreviated for “Total Resistance eXercises”.
What is it?
“The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise – because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.” Source
How does it work?
Utilizing your own bodyweight, the TRX allows you to control the level of difficulty you want/need. This device can literally be strapped anywhere; whether you’re are training in a gym or in a park!
Why would I buy it?
Because it’s the most compact, effective exercise tool on the market today. The TRX comes with a directory or exercises so the possiblites are endless! Used by athletes, trainers and the U.S. Military, this suspension trainer was actually invented by a Navy Seal. But don’t worry, you don’t need to complete basic training in order to use this! Modifications are simple with the adjustment of the strap foot placement in relation to the ancor point.
