Welp. It’s been over a week since I’ve seen you.
So much has happened here in Boston. I had a bridal shower, the Boston Marathon, a trip to the Reebok Headquarters to be a part of their focus group and oh yea, prepping myself for the upcoming Advocare 24 Day Challenge!!
While I tend to eat healthy 80% of my life, I do indulge in some splurges once and a while.
I basically drank wine every single night this week and I’m proud of it.
So when it comes to healthy eating on a day-to-day basis, I veer towards foods that will satisfy my sweet tooth but still give me the added benefits I need to stay on track.
Enter Blue Diamond Almonds.
At HLS 2 years ago I met the lovely Allie, BD rep and lover of all things blogs. She and I instantly hit it off and became close blog friends, i.e blends. When I saw her again this past year in MN, we picked up right where we left off – chatting about everything happening in our lives.
So when I received an email from Allie regarding almonds (and being a taste tester!) there was no way I was going to say no.
Being a lover of the sweeter things in life, I concocted this breakfast recipe that screams spring in my eyes. Not only is it FULL of protein, but it incorporates the crunchy, smooth and soft textures from all the add-ins.
Springtime Strawberry Breakfast Parfait
1 C 0% Greek yogurt (plain)
1/4 C chopped strawberries
1 package (1/4C) strawberry Blue Diamond almonds
Mix together and enjoy! Pretty simple.
